Coaching Return on Investment
The International Coach Federation recently had an ad with an amazing statistic.
86% of Companies made back at least their investment in coaching!
Of the 86%, twenty-eight percent (28%) saw an ROI of 10-49 times the investment. And nineteen (19%) percent saw an ROI 5o times their investment. So almost half of the survey participants saw a significant return on investment. Not sure where you can get that kind of return in today’s market.
This data came from the 2009 IFC Global Coaching Client Study. It’s useful if you are trying to convince your boss that coaching pays off. Or if you are a senior level executive, you might take note, since very few HR initiatives can provide that kind of return.
