The Coaching Seminar for Managers

The Coaching Seminar for Managers  is designed to help managers understand how coaching can have a big payback for them and for their team. Unfortunately, because of job pressures, managers often do not spend much time trying to develop their employees or teams. Many managers don’t have a model for coaching.  Other’s feel like they don’t have the time.  Some managers don’t understand how coaching can help increase productivity, build better relationships, and reduce costs.

The Coaching Seminar for Managers helps them focus on their role as a coach.  This seminar is designed for senior leaders, mid-level management, supervisors, team leaders, and high-potentials.

The program –

  • Explores and defines the role of the coach
  • Builds a relationship of trust
  • Helps a manager how to work with different personalities and styles
  • Improves listening skills, communication skills, and builds effective questioning techniques
  • Gives the manager tools to increase coaching focus
  • Helps the manager learn with coaching practice and feedback in role practices and case studies

Program length

The program is available in half-day to two day formats.

Assessment

An optional assessment is available to use with the program. This can be completed before the program, during the program, and after the program.  Because the return on investment (ROI) of coaching is so high, training leaders on coaching skills has the potential for exponentially increasing and enhancing employee engagement, productivity, and ultimately the bottom line for an entire organization.  In addition to providing a baseline, conducting the assessment before training provides insight about the leaders for their participation in the training program.
