Selling with StyleSelling with Style will help salespeople learn how to identify buyer styles.  Knowing how to best sell to different types of buyers will increase your interpersonal and sales effectiveness with prospects and customers. You learn how buyers want to buy,  be sold and how they make decisions.  As a result of the Selling with Style program, salespeople will:

  • Discover their own Communication Style (Driver, Expressive, Analytical, or Amiable)
  • Understand their selling strengths and weaknesses
  • Find out how different buyer styles make decisions
  • Learn how to best open a call, probe for needs, discuss benefits, handle objections, and close with different buying styles.

Selling with Style is a 30-day coaching program that teaches Styles concepts to salespeople. This program works by providing individualized coaching,  keeping you accountable,  and providing you immediate application on-the-job.

Here is how Selling with Style works –

1. You meet with your sales coach to review the program and get your assignments.

2. You then complete a validated online multi-rater 360° Style assessment to determine your Selling Style. You also have the option to select peers, colleagues, and/or subordinates to confidentially and anonymously provide confirmation of your Selling Style.

3. You complete pre-work to learn about Styles, available from Kindle, or a pdf copy of the book.  You’ll start learning about the four communication styles, i.e. Driver, Expressive, Amiable, and Analytical.

4. At your second meeting, you discuss your pre-work with a certified executive coach.  Your coach is a Style expert who will answer your questions about the four buyer styles.  You will also review your Selling with Style report. Download a sample report. Your coach will help you to interpret the report to further understand your style strengths and weaknesses. Together you build an action plan to use Selling with Style concepts in the next two weeks. You will finish your reading from the pre-work assignment in the next two weeks.

5. Your third coaching session reviews your readings and discusses your sales calls using Selling with Style in the past two weeks.  You work on key areas that you select with your coach.  Your coach provides feedback and helps you increase your selling skills effectiveness.
